The "5X100" CD definitely has Bengt Hallberg's stamp. I didn't know that he had composed and arranged so many things for choir. Here also is great variety. The fivelanguage
setting of 'David's Psalm 100' is particularly appealing. Of course, his improvisations are always wonderful to listen to, and I like the way they are sometimes combined with the choir.
The folksong arrangements are also very good. I've heard the 'Domaredansen' arrangement very often in choir concerts. It's a lovely idea to finish with
the beautiful Schubert 'Rosamunde'. Actually, the whole recording reminds me a bit of the Ellington 'Sacred Concert' music. It would make a wonderful concert on its own.
